On Dell website found instructions on how to update the BIOS but it requires Windows.I have also check the com web site but it does not support Debian yet.I first thought something was wrong with the SDD, so went back to the shop, they tested it (and were even so kind to format it), but still it does not get recognized by the Dell.The shop mentioned that DELL is problematic with accepting SSD.You must block quote text that has been written by some else. I've fixed it for you this time, but please pay attention to this in future.Update: Oh yeah, and do make sure to use the latest upgrade.Like the others said, you might want to try the Copy the BIOS update exe file locally on to your PC, open the command prompt, navigate to the location of the exe file and type the name of the exe file and add /forceit to the end eg: E7440A13/forceit press enter and the update should start and ignore the lack of a battery @ 10% charge. I cant remember if there was another box confirming update but if there was I confirmed.
